H2SO4(aq) + KOH(aq) -> k2SO4(aq) + H2O
In the above reaction sulfuric acid reacts with potassium hydroxide in aqueous solution and produce potassium sulfate and water. There is no excess H+ and OH- in the aqueous solution after the completion of nutralisation reaction and the pH of the solution comes close to 7. During the reaction acid loses its acidity and base loses its alkalinity to become nutralized.
